How can I explain
my feelings to you
when you already know
how I feel about you.

You waited patiently as
I lived my life
now you've come
to claim the price

I always sleep
with dreams about you
but with you
all hell breaks lose.

You're always in my mind,
always in my head
Sometimes I wish you'll go
but you've taken me instead.

You always looked
at people other then me.
I swear you're giving them
the same look you gave to me.

Sometimes I wish you came close
Sometimes I wish you would leave

But that's not something I want,
nor something I need

I just ask you stay away
for a few years at least.
Until I am ready,
for you to take me.
